I was brought up in North Lincolnshire.  I  moved to Scotland over 30 years ago and brought up my family here.  I have had a love of painting all my life, and enjoy painting in either oils or Acrylic and mixed media.  I 've taken courses with the Open College of the Arts and attended Leith School of Art for many years.  I respond mostly to colour and texture and enjoy experimenting with different ways of expressing the subject.  Art and creativity is an integral part of my life, and my work at present majors mostly on landscapes and cityscapes.  Though in the words of Joan Eardley "Its not what I paint - but that I paint"  I have exhibited at RSW, No Woman is an Island, Viva Venezia and Lochcarron Gallery
